The Inspection Process
- Download previous year’s items to PDA, if any.
- Access items by building and room number. Update each item with just a few clicks and handwritten or keyboard PDA input.
- Appraised items are identified using Decision Tree structure.
- There is no need to memorize replacement and repair costs – they are built into the Decision Tree.
- Your Administrator can edit the Decision Tree to support any additional structures to be checked and their replacement and repair costs.
- If any item cited in a previous year is overlooked, the inspector is warned during the PDA’s on-site review process.
- If any building from a previous year is overlooked, the inspector is warned during the PDA’s on-site review process.
- The Inspector reviews data at conclusion of inspection and uploads findings to database, using wireless or wired PDA connection.
- Uploaded inspection can be edited and reviewed for Quality Assurance via Web-based interface. Review and release can be centralized or performed at the remote facility.
- A Web interface with user type-specific access privileges controls the inspection process flow.
